About Units

Units are attachments to frames and armor. In order to use a unit, it must be equipped in a Slot. Frames and Armor can be found with slots, or they can be added using an AddSlot while wearing them. The maximum number of slots on a piece of equipment is 4.

Limiter & Adept
Limiter Reduces ATA and resistances by 10, and other stats by 30.
Can be turned into Adept after 20,000 kills with the unit equipped.
Adept Increases ATA by 20, Resistances by 6, and other stats by 10.
Also reduces TP Consumption by 25%.
V-Units
V101 Increases ATA by 1.5, other stats by 15, and attack speed to 40%.
V501 Increases chances for Paralyze, Confuse, Freeze and Instant Kill by 50%.
Applies after Resistances.
V502 Increases chances for Paralyze, Confuse and Freeze by 50%.
Increases chance for Instant Kill by 100%.
V801 Increases MST by 5. Increases cast speed of Techniques.
Units of Swords
Swordsman Lore Increases ATA by 10 while using Sabers, Swords or Double Sabers.
Can be turned into Proof of Sword-Saint after 20,000 kills with the unit equipped.
Proof of Sword-Saint While using a Saber, Katana or Twin Sword,
ATA is increased by 30, EVP by 60, and DFP is lowered by 20.
Other Units
Divine Protection Doubles Luck, and Increases EDK and ELT by 20 during even beats.
Friend Ring Increases ATP by 1 for every 2 Team Members you have.
Increases DFP by 1 for every 2 Guild Cards you have.
Smartlink Removes the ranged weapon accuracy penalty from Hunters and Forces.
Trap/Search Grants you passive Trap Vision.
Yasakani Magatama Increases ATA by 30 if a Kusanagi is equipped.
