About Server Commands

Server commands add additional functionality and utility to the game.

Commands always start with a slash, and sometimes come with arguments, or "arg"s, which affects what the command does.

Table of Current Server Commands

/setpass Password Yes Yes No Sets the password for your game. Not typing a password removes it. Changes are announced, but do not show the password.
/canjoin Yes Yes Yes Allows players to join the current quest. Announces to the room.
/notjoin Yes Yes Yes Prevents players from joining the current quest. Announces to the room.
/setname Yes Yes No Changes the name of the game. Announces the new name to the room.
/lobby Yes No Yes Returns you to the lobby if you are in a quest. Complains at you if you are not in a quest, or if you are in the lobby already, with no actual effect.
/sid Yes No No Announces the Section ID of all players in the room.
/gcnumber Yes No No Announces the Guild Card Numbers of all players in the room.
/class Yes No No Announces the Class of all players in the room.
/floor Yes No No Announces which area all players in the room are in.
/cost Yes No No Announces how much meseta has been spent by each player on Charge Specials in the current room.
/stats Yes No No Announces the Kill/Death ratios for the current room.
/dropcheck Yes No No Announces if the NoDrop flag is set for the current room.
/killcount SlotNumber No No No Shows the killcount of the item in slot SlotNumber within your inventory. If no slot is specified, lists all killcounts.
/matcount No No No Shows the amount of materials of each type you have used.
/bank p

Yes No No Changes the currently selected bank to your Personal Bank, Common Bank, or Extra Bank (if Unlocked). Not specifying a bank will have no effect.
/ucp No No No Opens your User Control Panel.
/sdq No No No Displays the current SDQ.
/dice Sides No No No Generates a random number between 1 and Sides. Defaults to 6 if Sides is not specified. Sides must be an integer (whole number) from 2 to 65533. Other values give "No dice!"
/ignore PlayerName No No No Prevents PlayerName from speaking with you (except by mail) until you change ships, or unignore them.
/unignore PlayerName No No No Allows PlayerName to speak with you again.

PCv2/DC/GC Exclusive Commands

The following commands can only be used while in a game room.

Command Effect
/legit Marks your room as Legit, which will attempt to detect any cheating players and prevent them joining.
/hack Marks your room as a Hacking room, which will turn off all cheat detection for that game.
/normal Removes Legit and Hacking marks.

v1/v2 Exclusive Commands

The following commands can only be used in a lobby.

Command Effect
/save Password Saves your character data to the server. Remember what Password you entered, as you will need it if you restore.
/restore Password Restores your character data from the server. The Password used must be the same as the one used with the save command.
